Dropkick Murphys brought the US FALL TOUR to San Antonio along with The Interrupters and Jesse Ahern for their one and only Texas date 10-8 to the Boeing Tech Port Arena.
Jesse Ahern would be the warm-up act, a man and his guitar singing about real-life situations. Jesse would win the crowd over with his gritty voice and his roots rock influence.
SKA -Punk band The Interrupters would take the stage next with a fun energetic set full of fist-pumping toe-tapping SKA greatness. Crowd surfing was definitely in full effect. The band consists of 3 brothers Kevin Bivona , Justin Bivona , Jesse Bivona, and of course lead singer of the band Aimee Interrupter.

Finally, it was time for the main event. Quincy, Massachusett's Dropkick Murphys take the stage bringing their American Celtic punk sounds to the Boeing Center to a eager packed house in Texas.
The 22-song setlist offered a wonderful selection of songs from the folky Punk rockers’ discography covering songs from 9 of their studio albums. DM live classics like ‘The Boys Are Back’, ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ or ‘I’m Shipping Up To Boston’ were celebrated along with a few surprises including The Dirty Glass (with Stephanie Dougherty on vocals and a lively cover of "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap"(AC/DC).
As the evening went on the enthusiasm of the band never weaned. It was a nonstop beer-drinking, toe-tapping, sing-along. The whole show was a ton of fun and had an amazing amount of raw energy. Everyone in the front row, and as far back as I could see was singing along and enjoying this rare occasion, as DM doesn't make it this way very often.
