Gretta Van Fleet brought the "Dreams In Gold Tour 2022" to the Alamo city for a great night of music. Along with GVF was Crown Lands, a Canadian rock duo with quite the interesting sound and the awesome motown sounds of Durand Jones and The Indications. If variety is your thing , you came to the right show.

Durand Jones and The Indications
With a giant backlit curtain spanning the stage and “Reasons For Waiting” by Jethro Tull blasted over the speakers Greta Van Vleet was about ready to hit the stage to the delight of thousands of screaming fans. The audience was quite the mixed bag, young, older, and everything in between. kicking off the night with the very Led Zeppelin-esque tune "Built By Nations" GVF wasted no time showing where their influences lie.
GVF , Josh Kiszka on lead vocals, Jake Kiszka on guitar, Sam Kiszka on bass guitar and keys, and Danny Wagner on drums prove that they are much more than a Zeppelin rip-off, as a lot of media have portrayed them. Their songwriting is deep and diverse. Throughout the set everyone would get a solo, the drum solo being the 4th song. Quite the unusual move. "Heat Above" and "Light My Love" would slow things down and show their softer side.
GVFs13 song set was diverse, covering music from all of their albums, complete with fire and a awesome light show. The singing and musicianship was top notch. Little did we know that our show would be the last for the month of November due to a ruptured ear drum suffered by Josh. It was a great performance, showcasing what could be a "classic" band of the future.
