Los Lonely Boys perform to a sold-out Aztec Theater in San Antonio 2-17

Updated: May 13, 2023

Los Lonely Boys played to a packed house in San Antonio, Texas bringing their Texican style to the masses at the historic Aztec Theater. Fellow Texas rockers, Giovannie & The Hired Guns would kick off the night with a high-octane collision of rock, country, and a little pop mixed in just for good measure.

Los Lonely Boys hit the stage with their signature brand of Texican rock ‘n’ roll — tearing it up with the ripping blues number Cottonfields and Crossroads.

Henry (guitar), Jojo (bass), and Ringo (drums) Garza put their passionate musicianship on full display for a house full of devout family. (fans). If you haven’t seen these guys live, you are in store for a clinic of musicianship and a refreshing dose of gratefulness. Henry’s high-energy, blues-rock guitar is simply amazing.

The show was a show within a show. Midway through their set, the boys treated us to a taste of how it all began for them, bringing out acoustic guitars and a mini drum kit to go back to the roots of it all. This part of the show was by far my favorite part, making the audience feel like they were all sitting in the living room watching it all come together. Los Lonely Boys took a little time off a few years back but, they are back and sounding better than ever. In the words of Jojo it's a resurrection of the band. It truly was a magical night, done right. Hopefully, some new music is on the way.
