Pennsylvania-based rock band Breaking Benjamin and special guest headliners Bush absolutely blew the roof off the Boeing Center at Tech Point in San Antonio 5-8. The show is part of their North American Spring tour ending at the end of May. Also appearing on the bill is fellow Pennsylvanians Another Day Dawns.
Bush took the stage at 8:05 sharp for what would be a short one-hour performance. The band, led by charismatic frontman Gavin Rossdale, delivered a high-energy show that had the sold-out crowd singing along from the first note of "Identity". Bush would play a hit-laden set consisting of crowd favorites including, “Machine Head," "Comedown,” and “Everything Zen” along with "All Things Must Change" a newly released single. The show was intense from start to finish including Gavin running out in the crowd, through the entire arena, something you don't see many artists do these days. The only time the intensity slowed down was when Gavin performed "Glycerine" solo. Bush never disappoints and this night would be no different.

Breaking Benjamin took the stage next, the sold-out arena was more than ready for what would be a hard-hitting performance. Kicking things off with "Blow Me Away" the band would make this a theme for the night as they played one great tune after another. Bathed in mysterious red light most of the evening frontman Benjamin Burnley was delivering the goods, despite the claims of having throat problems.
The set was full of classic Breaking Benjamin hits from the albums We Are Not Alone (“Follow”, "Breakdown", “So Cold”) and Phobia (“Breath”, “Until The End” "The Diary Of Jane") These two albums would provide the majority of their setlist. Breaking Benjamin would end their 18-song set with their biggest hit “Diary of Jane”.
