Forth Worth band and San Antonio favorites The Toadies made their annual pilgrimage to the Aztec theater for their "holiday" edition show. Along with The Toadies were fellow Ft. Worth band Flickerstick. You may remember them from the early 2000s when they won a reality TV show, signed a major label record contract, and toured the U.S. several times over. Well, they reunited and sound better than ever.

The Toadies always bring it when they perform here. The nearly sold-out Aztec theater was certainly ready for a Toadies rock show. Celebrating the 25-year anniversary of Rubberneck. The set would consist of plenty of classic hits off of said album, a few new songs, and various gems from the Toadies catalog. Although we didn't get the album played in its entirety we did get most of it. It was an awesome night of Texas music. In case you didn't know, the Toadies just dropped a new ep, DAMN YOU ALL TO HELL.
The EP is four previously unreleased tracks, including a cover of David Bowie’s ‘Sound and Vision.’ Three of the songs were recorded during sessions for the band’s last studio album The Lower Side Of Uptown (2017), and ‘Forgiven’ was recorded during the No Deliverance session (2008).
