W.A.S.P. perform at The Aztec Theater 11-30

W.A.S.P. took over the Aztec Theater in San Antonio, TX to celebrate the ALBUM ONE ALIVE 2024 WORLD TOUR and playing the first release in its entirety, for the first time ever and quite possibly the last. Along for the ride were metal mainstays Armored Saint.

As expected the sold-out show was a trip back down metal memory lane with these hard hitters. Armored Saint did not disappoint delivering a killer set of classics as well as a few newer offerings. John Bush and company had the band firing on all cylinders with a well-balanced, polished, hour-long set.

W.A.S.P. would take the red-washed stage next to a more than energetic audience even though they were informed by security pre-show that crowd surfing would not be allowed. There were more than a few boos for that announcement. The show would kick off with the wasp anthem "I wanna be Somebody" followed by another favorite from the album "Love Machine" The setlist would follow the album track by track.

Upon conclusion of the first album set the band would leave the stage for a quick set change reemerging to perform more classic W.A.S.P. Inside the Electric Circus / I Don't Need No Doctor / Scream Until You Like It would kick off set two followed by fan favorite "Wild Child" The evening would end with the obvious "Blind in Texas"
